Wat!? uses the microphone for rounds that involve recording your voice and playing it back, including reversed playback. Without microphone permission, those game modes cannot record audio.
Open iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and make sure Wat!? is enabled. Then fully close and reopen the app.
Check your iPhone volume, make sure audio is not being routed to Bluetooth headphones or another device, and try the round again. If the issue continues, restart the app.
No. Voice recordings used during gameplay are processed on your device and are not uploaded to Wat!? servers.
When contacting support, include your iPhone model, iOS version, Wat!? version and a short description of what happened. A screen recording is especially useful for visual or gameplay bugs.
